![]() ![]() While I was digging Freddy’s silly story, I’m not a beta tester. The fact that these occurred so early and often should serve as a discouragement for most players. But these aren’t minor glitches they are game-breaking. I’d typically never post a review on such little playtime. Four weeks later, how many have bought this game and run into the same bugs? How many might still before the patch goes live? What if the patch fails to catch every bug? The time has come for me to review what’s on the eShop, and no longer wait for what might be. But I’ve been waiting since the end of December. I genuinely hoped to publish this review after the patch was live to see if every bug had been fixed. Kudos to them in that they supposedly found my issue(s) just over a week later and sent a patch to Nintendo. I reached out to the publishers, who looked into a fix. ![]() Within ten more minutes, I froze the third and (until a patch) final time. Fool me once Freddy, shame on you, fool me twice… But I genuinely wanted the adventure to continue. I had to reset the game both times.Īfter the second freeze, I was hesitant to try again. The second time was on a staircase with no visible scenery surrounding me. Once was on an object in the opening level, no less. Within the first fifteen minutes, I got Freddy stuck twice. And I’m not just talking about subpar collision detection. The levels have invisible walls, presumably to keep you on the right track. I laughed out loud on a couple of occasions. Freddy moves everywhere in a comical fashion, and the unique (though sometimes repetitive) levels only add to the humor of the game. Not that I know how a noodle might jump or run, but this seems about as realistic as I might expect. One of the game’s features is “Physics all over the place.” I respect the truth in advertising. P Starr this is a great touch and a real asset to this adventure. A laboratory experiment, Freddy’s adventures are narrated by his creator, Dr. You play as the titular piece of pasta, not the Parks & Rec character. While we’re promised that “No pastas were harmed in the making of this game,” I have my doubts. I'm going to go grab myself a bacon-wrapped turkey.Freddy Spaghetti has so much promise, but multiple glitches ruin the fun. ![]() Still, it's one of NBC's (very few) shining stars at the moment and one would think they'd want to bring it back sooner than later. I'm very upset that we won't get to see Season 3 until, well, almost a year from now, but I guess we did have two seasons of Parks in 2009. Alas, the show must go wrong… Also, tt's worth mentioning too…RON'S SHOTGUN RINGTONE! And the Andy-less MouseRat group…RATMOUSE!! There was some fantastic stuff in " Freddy Spaghetti" and I love how much of the comedy works because of previously-established jokes, instituions and characters. Look, we all know these two are great as "friends with potential" and the possibility of them hooking up could ruin that, but I still feel bad that their relationship has hit another stall just because Andy actually likes April so much that he felt the need to be honest with her about his kiss with Ann. And Lucy seems to have the "no frills" straight-forwardness that Ron has. Once again, Ron's sternness and non-flashy alpha-male qualities have seemed to impress one of Tom's women. I wonder, given the final reveal at the end of the episode with Ron and Wendy, if Ron is poised to scoop Lucy away from Tom as well. But now that they're almost instantly sleeping together he's back to being his charade-ful self – which she doesn't seem to mind actually. I was realy hoping that we'd get to see a little more of Tom ( Aziz Ansari) and Lucy's "courtship" since I really enjoyed seeing Tom let his guard down in front of her last week and act like a likeable human being. He knows all the places where he's deficient in his work and while not aiming to change his own beliefs he's able to try and cultivate other people's desires and help them flourish. The fact that, as hands-off as he is, Ron is able to recognize the aptitude and enthusiasm of others is wonderful, and it's one of the things that has totally made his character magical. I was afraid that Ron (Nick Offerman) would simply be doing the same smirking and smiling he did all throughout last week's episode, but they found a really great way to turn things around and have him stand up and fight for Leslie's job. ![]()
